Wen-Chia Chang was born in Taipei, Taiwan and grew up in Ames, Iowa. At an early age Wen-Chia has taken an avid interest in filmmaking in hopes of following in the footsteps of his childhood hero George Lucas. Shortly upon graduating High School Wen-Chia attended a junior college in Idaho receiving an Associates Degree in Information Systems. Wen-Chia moved to New York City for a period of time working as a Translator and English teacher, and volunteering in service tasks. He later moved to Utah where he received Bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Media Arts. He also lived in Beijing, China for several months assisting and studying under nationally acclaimed Chinese Editor Xin-Xia Zhou. He has five years of editing experience and the projects he has undertaken have screened in numerous festivals across the nation. Wen-Chia is currently in his third year as a graduate student in the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
